Understand and check a directory entry
Start with the label shown on the record, then compare the available details with the linked publisher. A matching name alone does not establish that two entries concern the same person.
What does this number or date mean?
A warrant number, case reference, agency identifier and Directory Record ID are different references. The date a source was checked is separate from the date an order was issued.
Read the field-by-field guideWhere can I check current information?
Open the record’s official source. If its fields are incomplete or a result is unclear, use the responsible agency or court’s published contact route. Public online coverage varies.
Find the appropriate checking stepsIs the entry inaccurate?
Send the affected CAW page URL through the free correction form. Correcting this directory is separate from changing an agency publication or a court order.

Clark County Sheriff’s Office Warrant Search
Clark County Sheriff’s Office lists 564-397-2211 for Sheriff general office.
Sheriff general office: 564-397-2211. Official sheriff contact.
A Washington Department of Corrections listing and a Clark County court warrant answer different questions. The DOC Secretary’s Warrants program concerns certain people under the department’s jurisdiction, including community custody violations. It should not be treated as a complete list of warrants issued by courts in Clark County.
Check which agency issued the record
Use the official DOC warrant search for records in that state program. A county association in a DOC search does not establish which local court issued an order. For a local court matter, identify the court and case reference rather than assuming the state program covers it.
District Court has its own inquiry and hearing process
The Clark County District Court warrant FAQ says the court can provide outstanding-warrant information within its jurisdiction. It directs people seeking a bench warrant quash hearing to Court Administration at 564-397-2424. These instructions concern District Court; another court or the DOC may require a different route.
Scheduling a hearing is not confirmation that a warrant has been recalled. The court also warns that attending court for a warrant can involve a risk of being jailed. Obtain advice from a Washington-licensed lawyer about your case before deciding how to proceed.
Check the current courthouse location before attending
The court’s relocation notice lists 210 E. 13th Street, Vancouver, WA 98660, effective February 2, 2026. It gives weekday office hours of 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and notes that phones close from noon to 1 p.m. Check the official page for current access information before a visit.
