Texas Warrant Directory Coverage Independent Directory & Official Resource Links • TX

Browse Texas by counties to find published directory listings or official court and agency resources. Coverage differs by jurisdiction: some pages contain records, while others provide resource links only. This directory is not a statewide government warrant database, and an absent listing does not establish whether a warrant exists. Use the linked official source or responsible court or agency to confirm current status.

How to Check for Active Warrants in Texas

DIRECTORY HELP • TEXAS PUBLIC RECORDS

Texas court-record routes depend on the court level and locality. The Judicial Directory identifies courts and clerks across the state.

How do I find the Texas court or clerk for a case?

Use the Texas Judicial Branch’s Judicial Directory and its linked live database. It distinguishes District, County, Justice and Municipal Courts and lists District and County Clerks. Match the actual court and locality before requesting a criminal case record. [1]

Should I treat Texas re:SearchTX as a complete criminal-warrant search?

No. The Texas State Law Library describes re:SearchTX as access to civil cases from multiple District, County and Probate Courts, with incomplete county coverage. TAMES serves appellate cases. For a local criminal matter, use the responsible court and clerk rather than interpreting either portal as a complete warrant search. [2]

Why does a Texas county name alone not identify the records office?

The Judicial Directory separates courts by level and includes Municipal Courts by city as well as District and County Clerks. Use the court named on the case or source publication so a request is not sent to an unrelated office in the same county. [1]
